Partnering Philosophy
CHDI, Inc. is actively engaged in partnering with leading biopharmaceutical companies and translational contract research organizations (CROs). Together with High Q and HPTF, we also fund academic research.



General Terms

Our overall objective is to keep promising compounds moving to the market as quickly as possible.
  • Non-dilutive, non-equity financing.
  • Contract based - paid upon achievement of specific milestones.
  • CHDI retains R&D rights for HD.
  • HD should be the first indication pursued and CHDI retains march-in provisions for abandoned HD programs.
  • CHDI may seek to participate in HD upside (to support future research) if funding reaches a significant level but partner generally retains rights to indications other than HD.
  • Terms flexible - may vary based on the unique nature of each proposal.
  • We seek to preserve our partners IP while balancing the need to share relevant results with other HD investigators.
