The World Congress is a joint meeting of the World Federation of Neurology (WFN) Research Group on Huntington's Disease (HD) and the International Huntington Association (IHA). Traditionally, the WFN Research Group on HD and the IHA met separately every two years; the Congress in Dresden will be the 22nd Meeting of the WFN Research Group on HD and the 17th meeting of the IHA. Since the 2003 Congress (Toronto) these meetings have been restructured and now form a joint meeting which goes under the name of World Congress on Huntington's Disease (WCHD). The WCHD in 2007 is organised in association with the clinical, scientific and patients' organisations concerned with HD. The Congress will be preceded by an Annual Plenary Meeting of the European HD Network, EHDN 2007, to be held from September 7-8, 2007 at the same venue.
